Iqbal Ahmed OBE DBA

Chairman

Masji-ul-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic Centre

Iqbal Ahmed has always been interested in his charity work and truly enjoys working with the community.  His passion to care for the community is proof of his continuous involvement with Masjid-ul-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic Centre in Oldham which he founded in 1994.

Iqbal along with some local residents in Coppice, Oldham took the initiative and build a Mosque.  They shared a common goal, they wanted a place where the community can pray together; provide Islamic education and teach culture.
